COACH CLARENCE KENDALL BARKER

Clarence Kendall Barker graduated from Pasco Comprehensive High School in Dade City, FL.

 

Clarence graduated from Tampa Technical Institute in Tampa, FL with an Associate of Science degree in Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology in July 1999.  In 2008, Clarence also completed courses at the New Horizons Learning Center where I completed the A+, Net +, & MCP computer certification courses.

 

Clarence started coaching as a volunteer assistant at my alma mater Pasco high school in the 2000-2001 school year under the direction of Willie B. “Poncho” Broner III. Under Poncho’s direction, we produced one player who was in the top 100 basketball players in our state. We produced a 2004-2005 McDonalds All-America candidate, which means, he was 1 of the top100 players in the nation that year.

 

Clarence started my AAU coaching career in March 2006 with Team S.T.A.T., Ama’re Stoudemire’s AAU program. During this time, Clarence helped Coach Burney Hayes build one of the most powerful AAU programs in the country.  We produced numerous college players and prep school players. We also produced 3 players drafted into the NBA, 3 players that currently play overseas.  Clarence also had his coaching career influenced by L.A. Clippers Head Coach Glenn “Doc” Rivers. Currently, Clarence serve as Chairman of Beyond Basketball, Inc. Clarence am also pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
